Installing FFmpeg on Mac

To install FFmpeg on a Mac for using MP4 output in animation with Browzwear's Lotta or VStitcher, follow these steps: 1. Visit https://www.ffmpeg.org/download.html. 2. Click on the Mac icon under Get packages & executable files. 3. Select Static builds for macOS 64-bit on the new page. 4. Navigate to the FFmpeg section and choose the snapshot option, which is regularly updated. 5. Download the ZIP file and unpack it by double-clicking on the downloaded file called ffmpeg. 6. Copy the ffmpeg file to a suitable location on your Mac. 7. Open VStitcher or Lotta and go to the Main menu, then click on Plugins and select Animation Plugin. 8. Choose an animated avatar in Load Animated Avatar to enable other fields. 9. Make sure MP4 is selected in the Output section. 10. Click Browse in the FFmpeg Library, locate the ffmpeg file, and add it to the plugin. Your FFmpeg installation is now complete.
