Understanding the Agreement Terms
The Climate FieldView™ Terms of Service serve as a legal agreement between you and Climate LLC or one of its Affiliates based on your service address location. This agreement outlines the terms and conditions for the use of FieldView Services, which encompass products, software, hardware, and websites provided by Climate. It is essential to note that FieldView Services are intended for business use only, establishing a business-to-business relationship between you and Climate. By using these services, you agree to be bound by the Terms of Service, representing that you are at least 18 years old or of the legal age in your jurisdiction to enter into such agreements. If you are acting on behalf of a company, you must have the authority to bind the entity to these terms.
Description of the Service Scope
FieldView Services offer information, estimates, prescriptions, and recommendations based on models and third-party sources to help users organize and evaluate data from their mobile devices or equipment. It's important to understand that the services provided may vary based on location, growing conditions, and farming practices. The results may differ across growers and regions, as conditions are diverse. Climate does not guarantee economic outcomes and advises users to consult agronomists, commodities brokers, and other professionals before making significant farming or financial decisions. The services should not replace sound farming practices or field monitoring but rather complement them.
Data Privacy and Account Creation
To access FieldView Services, users must create a FieldView account for each Service Territory they operate in. This account allows for personalized settings and preferences based on the region. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login information and preventing unauthorized access. FieldView Services require the collection and use of data related to users' farming operations. Climate follows strict privacy policies outlined in the Climate Privacy Statement, which dictates how personal information is handled and shared. Users have control over their data through account settings and preferences.
