Enhancing Efficiency: Integrating Jira Cloud with Enjo

Connection Steps

To integrate Jira Cloud with Enjo, follow these simple steps: Login to Enjo dashboard, go to Settings, select Apps, click on +Connect Apps, choose Jira, add a new connection by selecting Jira Cloud, enter your Jira URL, create a Jira App link, review and complete the link creation process, provide Consumer key, Consumer name, and Public key, acknowledge completion of steps, and click Connect to finish the integration.

Settings

After connecting Jira Cloud to Enjo, you can view and manage the connection under Dashboard->Settings->Apps. Further settings and configurations for the Jira connection can be accessed by clicking on the Jira connection from the Apps page in the Enjo dashboard.

User Mapping

Enjo offers a 'User Mapping' feature to link Enjo users with Atlassian accounts. This mapping helps in aligning Enjo users with their corresponding Atlassian email IDs. You can access this feature by going to Enjo webapp, navigating to Settings, selecting Apps, choosing Jira, and then configuring User Mapping. Create or update mappings for team members by associating Enjo users with their respective Atlassian user accounts.

Automatic Mapping of Users

When your workspace is integrated with Jira, Enjo will automatically try to map Jira accounts to Enjo accounts based on profile similarities. Up to 100% of the accounts can be mapped by Enjo, depending on your Jira setup. Mapped accounts will be displayed as unverified in the 'User Mapping' section of the Enjo web app.

Guest Facilitation

Enjo facilitates unverified users to create and update Jira requests through guest facilitation. Administrators can authorize Jira access for guest users, enabling them to interact using a Facilitator's Account on behalf of unverified users. Verified administrators will continue to use their accounts for Jira tasks, while guest facilitation is specifically designed for those who haven't linked their accounts.

Personal settings

Verify your Jira account in personal settings to fully leverage Enjo for Jira ticket creation and updates. Access the 'My Account' section in the Enjo dashboard under Jira connection settings. By verifying your Jira account, you can enjoy seamless integration and easily switch between linked Jira accounts for efficient workflow management.

Use cases

Enhance productivity by connecting Jira to Slack or Microsoft Teams for streamlined ticketing processes. Automate ticket creation, configure notifications, and facilitate efficient communication between teams.
