Evolving to Meet the Needs of CIOs in Indiana
The Indiana CIO Network, a TechPoint initiative, focuses on bringing together top technology leaders from Indiana organizations. This community of Chief Information Officers (CIOs) provides a platform for sharing knowledge, discussing challenges, exchanging ideas, and exploring opportunities related to their roles. The organization shifted from the Indy CIO Network to the Indiana CIO Network in late 2022, broadening its scope to encompass leaders statewide. The network is led by Matt Belanger, President, and Heather Darring, Vice President, supported by an Advisory Council of tech executives guiding the community's growth.
Network Events Overview
The Indiana CIO Network hosts monthly discussion breakfasts to facilitate informal dialogue among peers. These gatherings, averaging 20-30 attendees, focus on central topics without the need for presentations, fostering a relaxed and approachable environment. Additionally, the network organizes around six vendor-sponsored dinner events annually, offering networking opportunities, educational presentations, and networking in a non-sales setting, thanks to the support of sponsoring partners.
Eligibility and Benefits of Joining
Senior IT leaders in various roles, including CIOs, CTOs, CDOs, CISOs, and those transitioning from such positions, are invited to join the Indiana CIO Network. The community prioritizes internal technology leaders from a range of companies and government entities across Indiana, focusing on tech-enabled, tech-product, and tech-service organizations. Membership grants access to monthly events, curated content, and an exclusive network of peers. To apply, interested individuals can fill out the form on the network's website.
Sponsorship Opportunities
TechPoint acknowledges the vital role of sponsors in supporting the Indiana CIO Network's activities. Sponsors can choose from various levels of involvement, from presenting sponsors to dinner sponsors, each offering unique benefits such as logo recognition, event sponsorship, and networking opportunities. The network's sponsorship packages aim to provide value to sponsors while enhancing the overall experience for CIOs and senior IT leaders within the community.
