Objective of the Study
The objective of the study was to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of Gurunanda® Oil Pulling Rinse in reducing oral malodor.
Study Process
A single-center, randomized, double-blind clinical study with 60 subjects was conducted over three weeks. Subjects were divided into active (Group B) and placebo (Group A) groups, and oral safety and malodor assessments were performed at various intervals by trained professionals following specific criteria.
Results Analysis
The study results showed a significant reduction in oral malodor in Group B (active) compared to Group A (placebo) after both 12 hours and three weeks of product use. Statistical analysis with p-values <0.001 confirmed the efficacy of Gurunanda® Oil Pulling Rinse.
Observations
No adverse events were reported during the study, and oral exams indicated the product's safety over the three-week period. The comparison between the active and placebo groups highlighted the product's efficacy in reducing oral malodor significantly.
Conclusion
The data suggest that Gurunanda® Oil Pulling Rinse is safe and effective in reducing oral malodor with consistent daily use. The product demonstrated a significant reduction in malodor after 12 hours and continued to improve with regular usage, indicating its potential for maintaining oral freshness.
