Honeycomb Machining

ARC Technologies excels in machining a diverse range of honeycomb structures, ranging from simple facing sheets to intricate pyramidal shapes. With a generous machining envelope of 60”x120” x 16”, ARC Technologies can achieve precision tolerances on Honeycomb up to +/- 0.005” in the cell direction and +0.030”/-0.060” with/across the ribbon direction.

Composite Machining

Their expertise extends to crafting custom fixtures for composite parts to ensure vacuum-tight tolerances. Whether it's short runs or large-scale production, ARC Technologies handles all types of composites and materials. Notably, all composite machining is carried out dry, with diamond tooling employed to guarantee immaculate finishes without delamination.

Extrusion Tooling

ARC Technologies manufactures extruding die plates, machine adapters, and downstream cooling fixtures in-house with a quick turnaround time of 3-4 weeks for external projects. Utilizing CNC Lathe and Milling Centers, they craft components from raw bar stock, ensuring precision in burning the extrusion design with EDM work and finalizing with deburring and assembly.

Thermoplastic Machining

Their capabilities include machining sheet stock down to a thickness of 0.007”, enabling the fabrication of intricate shapes and profiles with exceptional precision. ARC Technologies has mastered cutting speeds and feeds critical for working with thermoplastics, ensuring optimal outcomes in all their machining processes.

Foam Machining

ARC Technologies offers precise machining of loaded foam with tolerances of +/- 0.030” or better upon request. Their proficiency lies in handling complex geometries and sweeping surfaces, utilizing 5-axis machines for streamlined 5-sided machining in a single operation, thereby minimizing setups and setup times.
