Specialty Reinforcements

Hexcel's specialty reinforcements go beyond standard fabric offerings. Our capabilities include designing quartz or carbon yarn shapes for structural or transparency radomes, crafting carbon or glass flat or contoured spirals for circular parts, and developing multilayer 2D automated placed circular woven fabrics. Additionally, we specialize in tackified (powdered) fabrics, where binders are applied to aid in the infusion process, enhancing the overall performance and usability of the fabrics.
