Advanced Command and Control Capabilities
The Kratos OpenSpace Target Control Transponder (TCT) represents a cutting-edge solution for providing advanced command and control capabilities for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) and Targets. When used in conjunction with the HVS Model 6157-1 Portable Radar Tracking and Control System (PRTCS) or the 6104 Transportable Tracking and Control System (TTCS), the TCT offers robust command and control functionality along with the transmission of position and telemetry data.
Dual Modes of Operation
The TCT offers two distinct modes of operation - Command and Track. In Command mode, Pulse-Position-Code (PPC) interrogations are transmitted by the Ground System. The transponder set receives and decodes this 5-pulse group, enabling the output of commands to the vehicle. Additionally, the TCT can simultaneously respond to command mode and track mode interrogations, outputting both 4-pulse and 2-pulse coded PPC.
Cutting-Edge Design and Reliability
The design of the Kratos OpenSpace Target Control Transponder incorporates state-of-the-art devices, circuitry, and modern production processes. This ensures a reliable product with high-quality consistency, making it ideal for programs and applications with strict environmental, EMI, and reliability requirements. The TCT is engineered to deliver optimal performance under challenging conditions, guaranteeing operational efficiency and precision.
Support and Further Enhancements
The Kratos OpenSpace Target Control Transponder is complemented by a range of related products, including the Multi-Service Data Link Transponder, Model 290 Data Link Transponder, and C-Band Radar Transponders, among others. Each of these offerings aims to enhance the overall capabilities of UAVs, Targets, and radar systems, ensuring seamless integration and improved operational efficiency.
Expanding Applications and Capabilities
The Kratos OpenSpace Target Control Transponder is not only limited to UAVs and Targets but also serves as a vital component for enhancing radar systems. Products like the Model MD500L IFF Transponder and the Gulf Range Drone Control System offer expanded applications and capabilities, allowing for the identification of friend or foe, distance measuring equipment functionality, and improved navigation requirements.
