Epps holds a bachelor's degree in physics from Le Moyne College and master's and Ph.D. degrees in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Maryland. She was selected as a NASA astronaut in 2009, undergoing rigorous training in various fields from Russian language studies to T-38 jet piloting.

Space Missions and Training

Her space career includes missions like the groundbreaking SpaceX Crew-8 mission, where she spent 235 days in space.
