Qualified Level 2 (Formerly Family Grouping) Product Submission Guidelines

Eligibility Criteria for Level 2 Applications

To qualify for a Level 2 application, a group of products must meet specific criteria. The family group should consist of a single LED package/module/array or a standardized set of LED packages/modules/arrays. The fixture must showcase scalability or modular use of identical LED components across electronics, optics, heat sinking, and other relevant features. While certain design parameters can vary, they should not impact performance significantly. Multiple driver variations and LED drive currents are permissible within a family group. The physical housing and assembly of products in the family must share identical material, construction, and shape with differing dimensions in sub-groups where applicable.
