Key Features of Hive 2

Hive 2 boasts several key features that enhance sound design capabilities, including low CPU usage, three synth engines, drag & drop modulation assignment, a robust modulation matrix with modifiers, four user-definable XY control pads, and an 8-step shape sequencer with multiple outputs. Additionally, it offers arpeggiator and step sequencer functions, scale quantization, function generators, and seven rearrangeable effects.

Expanded Functionality and Controls

With over 2400 NKS-ready factory presets and a resizable UI from 70% to 200%, Hive 2 provides a user-friendly interface, alternative skin options, microtuning support, and compatibility with Oddsound MTS-ESP. The synth supports MPE (MIDI Polyphonic Expression) for improved performance and creative possibilities.

Wavetable Integration in Hive 2

Hive 2 introduces wavetables, allowing users to manipulate waveforms, modulate wave positions, and scan through wavetables seamlessly. The synth offers multi-table support, enabling the creation of multidimensional oscillators by splitting wavetables into multiple parts. Users can also delve into .uhm scripting for advanced wavetable generation and interpolation options.

Shape Sequencer and Function Generators

The Shape Sequencer in Hive 2 facilitates the creation of complex modulations and rhythmic patterns, while the Function Generators combine envelope functionality with LFO, slew limiter, and gate control for versatile modulation capabilities.
