Introduction to Toast Guest Terms of Service
Toast POS offers a comprehensive suite of technology products and services to Toast Merchants, facilitating seamless interactions between Guests and Merchants. These services include the ability for Guests to place orders, join waitlists, make reservations, communicate with Merchants, and utilize Toast Cash for purchases. Additionally, Toast processes payment transactions on behalf of Merchants, ensuring a streamlined and efficient dining experience.
Opening and Accessing a Toast Account
Guests using Toast services have the option to register and create a Toast account, simplifying future orders and purchases. By storing personal information and payment methods, Guests can enhance the efficiency of their transactions. While account creation is not mandatory for making purchases, having an account enables the saving of preferences and information for future orders. To access the Local App, downloading the app and creating a Toast account is necessary. By using a consistent email address or phone number across various Toast services, Guests can register for a unified account spanning multiple platforms.
Confidentiality and Account Security
Maintaining the confidentiality of account login details and payment information is crucial for ensuring account security. Guests are solely responsible for safeguarding their login credentials and payment data to prevent unauthorized access. Toast operates under the assumption that any use of login information or payment methods signifies the legal authority of the user. In the event of unauthorized account access, Guests are encouraged to notify Toast promptly to mitigate any potential risks. Until such notification is received and addressed by Toast, Guests are accountable for any activity on their account.
