Introduction to LinkedIn User Agreement

LinkedIn's User Agreement defines the terms of use for the platform, covering obligations, rights, limitations, termination, and governing laws. By creating an account on LinkedIn, users enter into a legally binding contract with the platform.

LinkedIn Services and Contract Details

The Contract applies to various LinkedIn services, including the website, apps, and offsite data collection. Users agree to the terms outlined, including Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, when using LinkedIn services.

LinkedIn Member and Visitor Distinction

The Contract applies to both Members and Visitors. Members are users who have registered for LinkedIn services, while Visitors can access limited features without registration. Both categories of users are bound by the terms of the Contract.

Changes to LinkedIn User Agreement

LinkedIn reserves the right to make changes to the User Agreement, Privacy Policy, and Cookie Policy. Users will be notified of any material changes, giving them the opportunity to review and accept the updated terms. Changes cannot be retroactive.

Obligations of LinkedIn Users

Users commit to certain obligations under the LinkedIn User Agreement. These include ensuring eligibility to use the services, maintaining the security of their accounts, and adhering to payment obligations if using paid services on the platform.

Service Eligibility and Account Responsibilities

Users must meet the 'Minimum Age' requirement, keep their account information secure, and comply with LinkedIn's Dos and Don'ts policies. Sharing accounts or using false information is a violation of the terms.

Account Ownership and Payment Terms

Users are responsible for their accounts and should not share them with others. Payment for services is subject to terms specific to each paid offering, and failure to pay fees may lead to termination of services.
